IS COSMETIC SURGERY RIGHT FOR YOU?

There are many procedures out there that will help bring out the features that you like without signs of surgery.  Having an office consultation is paramount in determining what procedure or surgery can benefit you.  You and the physician will personalize your needs.  Some people choose to have a little subtle touchup while others prefer to have a total makeover.  Successful facial plastic surgery is a result of good rapport between patient and the surgeon.  Trust, based on realistic expectations and exacting medical expertise, develops in the consulting stages before surgery.  Together we can determine and accommodate your specific needs with the wide range of the surgical procedures that we offer.

WHERE ARE THE SURGERIES BEING PERFORMED?

Most of our surgeries are performed in the office at our new surgical suite across the hall.  It is separate from our general practice so the facility remains personal and private.  Having the surgeries done in the office will eliminate the hospital and anesthesia costs that are usually associated with surgeries.  It is our goal to provide our patients with superb surgical outcome with state of the art technology while maintaining the highest safety standard.

WILL I BE PUT TO SLEEP?

We prefer not to use general anesthesia in our cosmetic procedures, as we would like to eliminate risks that come with that type of anesthesia. You may have an IV for delivery of medication. We will give you medications for pain control and light sedation.  You will be in a light sleep and will be easily aroused during the procedure.  Our patients have found this technique to be a pleasant and safer alternative to general anesthetic.

WHAT IS THE CONSULTATION FEE AND HOW AFFORDABLE ARE THE PROCEDURES?

The consultation is $35.00 and can be applied toward the charge of any procedure that you may choose in the future.  At our center, we strive to deliver high quality care with affordable costs.  Because the surgeries are performed in the office setting, your total costs can be kept to a minimum without any extra hospital or anesthesia charge.  Cosmetic surgeries are not covered by insurance companies.  All fees are expected to be paid in full before surgery.  We do offer financing options for our patients.  The cosmetic coordinator will be happy to discuss these options with you during your consultation.

HOW LONG DO THE RESULTS LAST?

It is not possible to accurately predict how long it may be before another procedure is needed.  Some of our procedures such as Botox, Restylane or Captique are intended to temporarily correct the imperfections while long-term effects are expected from our surgeries such as blepharoplasty and liposuction.  The effects of aging and gravity will continue and, after several years, some patients may need additional procedures to maintain the desired result.

IS THERE A LIMITATION TO MY AGE?

Beauty is not defined by age.  As long as your medical conditions have been under control, there are no limits to your age.  During your consultation, your medical conditions will be reviewed by the physician and determined if you are a candidate for the procedures.
